School Cook

Sutherland Public Schools is seeking a dependable and hardworking School Cook to join our school nutrition team. This position plays an important role in providing quality meals to our students and staff while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment

• Dependable and punctual

• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds

• Willingness to learn and perform a variety of daily kitchen duties

Responsibilities Include

• Serving meals

• Assisting with setup and cleanup before and after meal service

• Following food safety and sanitation procedures

• Lifting and moving food, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds

• Working cooperatively with kitchen staff and other school personnel

• Performing other duties as assigned
