School Cook
Sutherland Public Schools is seeking a dependable and hardworking School Cook to join our school nutrition team. This position plays an important role in providing quality meals to our students and staff while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.
Qualifications
Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
Dependable and punctual
Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Willingness to learn and perform a variety of daily kitchen duties
Responsibilities Include
Serving meals
Assisting with setup and cleanup before and after meal service
Following food safety and sanitation procedures
Lifting and moving food, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
Working cooperatively with kitchen staff and other school personnel
Performing other duties as assigned
