This week, they’ve canned peaches, green beans, dill pickles, dilly beans, salsa, cucumber relish, peach jam, plum jelly, and crab apple jelly. What a lineup of skills (and flavors)!

During open campus, a group of curious Sailors stumbled upon a white moth and brought it straight to our resident “bug expert,” science teacher Mrs. Kershner. What followed was a great conversation about species, rarity, and the power of asking questions—even when it means an unexpected lunch guest at the teacher table🪲.
