Go Sailors! 📷

Congratulations to Gunner and Brody, our Preschool Students of the Month! 🎉
These two young Sailors have done a great job showing kindness, being good friends, and setting a positive example for their classmates.

We are excited to recognize our Captains of the Month!
These students were selected for the kindness they showed during our Kindness Kickoff to start the school year. They demonstrated what it means to care for others, include others, lend a helping hand, and make Sutherland Elementary a better place to be.
Kindness may seem like a small thing, but it can make a BIG difference! 💙
Congratulations to our Captains of the Month! Thank you for leading by example and helping us start the school year on a positive note.
⚓ Be Kind. Lead by Example. Make a Difference. ⚓

A BIG thank-you to Sergeant Brad Ward and Corporal Tyler Schultz of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department for spending time with our Junior and Senior High Students and Staff Friday morning!
Students learned about cell phone and social media safety, protecting personal information, making responsible choices online, and understanding the lasting impact of their digital footprint.
We encourage parents and guardians to continue these important conversations at home. Ask your child what stood out to them, what they learned, and how they can make safe and responsible choices online.
We appreciate Sergeant Ward, Corporal Schultz, and LCSD for sharing this important information and helping our students become safer, more responsible digital citizens!
