10:00–11:00 a.m. — K–12 Veterans Program (South Gym)
11:00–12:00 p.m. — Lunch with a Veteran

Family Literacy Night Reminder
Family Literacy Night is tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4th, from 5:00–6:30 PM in the North Gym. We hope to see our students and families there for an evening focused on reading, learning, and fun!

What a week in the FCS kitchen! 🐔🍦
We want to send a huge thank-you to Seifer Farms Pasture Poultry for their generous donation of chicken — and more! Students learned how to break down a whole chicken, can it, and use the breasts to make delicious homemade chicken strips and nuggets. FCS wrapped up “chicken week” with a classic favorite: chicken and noodles (with homemade noodles, of course!).
Seifer Farms also donated cream, milk, and eggs for their ice-cream-making lesson — talk about farm-to-table learning! 🍨
We’re so grateful for community partners like Seifer Farms who make hands-on learning possible for our students!⚓️

On Monday evening, October 27, TeamMates matches gathered at the school for a fun night of birdhouse gourd painting. Mentors and mentees enjoyed great conversations, laughter, and creativity as they turned plain gourds into colorful masterpieces. It was a wonderful evening of connection and creativity—proof that spending time together can truly make a difference
